Our short sleeved 1940's Dress
is a variation on the popular 1940's dress. It is exactly the
same EXCEPT for the horizontally gathered cap sleeves. This dress
features a lowcut front and back neckline with gathering at the
shoulders, upper bust, and upper back. The underbust is sewn
in sections to give it a sleek and flattering fit and the waist
sections are lined for even more waist control. The skirt is
below the knee and combines bias cut and straight cut panels
for a flattering A line shape.
Fabric: Cotton Voile
Lining: Fully Lined in Cotton Voile
*The SKETCHY CHERRIES print was
inspired by an 1950's vintage print. The background is black
with cherries drawn in soft brown/tan with accents in true red
and white*
