Our short sleeved 1940's Dress
is a new variation on the popular 1940's dress. It is exactly
the same EXCEPT for the horizontally gathered cap sleeves. This
dress features a lowcut front and back neckline with gathering
at the shoulders, upper bust, and upper back. The underbust is
sewn in sections to give it a sleek and flattering fit and the
waist sections are lined in a stiffer silk for even more waist
control. The skirt is below the knee and combines bias cut and
straight cut panels for a flattering A line shape. This version
is all versatile silk crepe.
Fabric: Heavy Weight Silk Crepe de Chine
Lining: Unlined
