Trashy Diva loves to give back to the community! Both locally in our hometown of New Orleans and nationwide, we are committed to supporting our society. We believe in building a strong community by offering our support to charities and those in need.

From holding vintage sales to benefit Hagar’s House, a local sanctuary for women and children, to partnering with The Cinderella Project by organizing a prom dress drive for financially-challenged young women to working with Tipitina’s Foundation to raise funds for their youth programs, Trashy Diva is always looking for ways to give back to the community. We’re also proud to sponsor a number of local talents and burlesque troupes!

Trashy Diva is currently seeking new organizations to partner with. If you would like to recommend an organization that might be a good fit, please contact us via If you would like to submit a donation request, please fill out our form here.

Scales & Ales at the Audubon Aquarium

Trashy Diva had the opportunity to be a sponsor of the New Orleans Audubon Aquarium Scales and Ales event.  Proceeds benefit Audubon Aquarium of the Americas’ valuable work in education and conservation, including the Louisiana Marine Mammal and Sea Turtle Rescue Program and the Junior Naturalists and AquaKids youth programs. Trashy Diva donated $1000 towards the Audubon Aquariums' causes and several divas had an absolutely wonderful evening at the aquarium!

Wine, Dine, and Design, at the Audubon Tea Room
St. Charles Avenue hosted its second annual “Wine, Dine & Design” tablescapes luncheon, which featured more than 20 tables created from the ground up by local retailers and designers. From linens and chair backs, to glassware and cutlery, each table was a work of art. Proceeds from both the preview party and luncheon went to Operation Homefront, which provides financial and other assistance to the families of wounded warriors and our service members. Trashy Diva was a program sponsor for this event, as well as designed a fabulous table for the luncheon! See more images of the divas at the event on our blog!

Magnolia Ball at the Ogden

Magnolia Ball celebrates and benefits the Center for Southern Craft and Design at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, which serves to highlight the artistic contributions of craft artists and designers from the American South. Trashy Diva donated a dress from our Steel Magnolias collection to be auctioned off. Two divas got to attend and enjoy an evening of cocktails and fine art.

We thank our customers who made this event a huge success! Trashy Diva was able to raise $2,000 to donate to the Foundation’s Sunday Youth Workshops which helps students of all ages learn to play with some of the region’s best musicians on the legendary stage at Tipitina’s Uptown club. The Cinderella Project

Prom should be a night to remember for everyone - the hair, the makeup, the dress! Without the perfect dress, you would have missed out on your very own Cinderella moment. The Cinderella Project of New Orleans is dedicated to making dreams come true for financially-challenged young women. Trashy Diva teamed up with this amazing organization by holding a month-long dress drive to collect gently worn prom dresses. Thanks to our customers, we were able to provide a total of 27 dresses (5 of which were brand new Trashy Diva dresses)! We cannot thank those that donated their vintage goods or came out to shop with us enough! With our fundraiser, Trashy Diva was able to raise $5,000 for Hagar’s House!
